Boxing, also known as the sweet science is a martial art and combat sport in which two people engage in a contest of strength, to test their reflexes, and endurance by throwing punches with gloved hands. Our classes are for people wanting to learn “REAL” Boxing and suitable for all levels. This is not your regular fitness Boxercise class.

Our classes are suitable for people of all levels, and place a strong emphasis on technique and performing things correctly. Each week we focus on a different aspect of boxing and classes will vary from circuits, pad work, partnered drilling, and conditioning. If you don’t have a partner then that’f fine because we can partner you up with someone similar level.
Classes will usually comprise of a general warm up, footwork drills, technique practise, partnered drilling, and conclude with abdominal conditioning. Our classes are the perfect blend of a challenging, fast paced workout and a professional high level technical instruction.

BEGINNER CLASS FORMAT

  • This is not a “Boxercise” style class. You will learn the right technique on how to box properly.
  • General warm up, to loosen up muscles, increase range of motion
    and flexibility.
  • Footwork drills, to develop correct footwork,
    balance and coordination.
  • Defensive drill, to learn how to defend before you attack.
  • Technique partnered drilling. Each week we focus on a different aspect of Boxing. You will never get bored!
  • Conditioning.  Always wanted rock hard abs like a boxer? This is how.
